Last week me and my partner took a huge step and moved in together. We have got a mortgage on a lovely little two-bedroom house near where we were both brought up.

It is perfect as a good starting point for us and getting our foot on the ladder! The only problem is, it needs a bit of fixing up and we are skint now!

We have ended up borrowing my parents garden furniture to use as a kitchen table and we have a mattress on the floor as a bed!

It is going to be tough for the next few months, but hopefully things will pick up and we might be able to move the garden furniture outside where it belongs!
